As followers of Jesus Christ, our heart’s desire is to love God and to love others.

Connect

It is our desire to connect with God and others. We recognize the importance of spending time alone with God and to gather with His people, whether that be one on one, in small groups or our Sunday worship gatherings.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.  Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.  All the believers were together and had everything in common.  They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” - Acts 2:42-47

Grow

We believe that we are to become like Jesus. This begins at the moment we come into a relationship with Him and continues as we practice spiritual disciplines and surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit within us.

“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” - Ephesians 5:1-2

Serve

We are aware that God has gifted each believer as He determines to serve within the Christian community and bring the hope of Jesus to the world. We understand that discovering our spiritual gifts can be a process, but live in an environment where we are encouraged to find out how we can benefit the church and her purposes.

“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” - I Corinthians 12:4-7

Our mission is to demonstrate and communicate the love and message of forgiveness, salvation and redemption in Christ. We will do this through a variety of opportunities.

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” - II Corinthians 5:20
